HIGHLIGHTS      

WOW Festival -- January, 2010

Debuted first one-woman circus, showcasing piano and concertina playing, acrobatics and interactive theatre to full-houses in a San Francisco Festival.  

Espana Family Circus -- July, 2009

Member of Espana/Streb Trapeze Academy's Professional Fly Team, performing as aerial acrobat clown on the high-flying trapeze.  

Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus -- 2008

Performed in over 300 shows touring the United States' major arenas.  Acts included flying trapeze, dancing in spectacle number, audience participation and audience shill. 

Wired Whisk Bakehouse -- 2007

Developed gluten-free, vegan, and no-sugar-added line.  Created and tested recipes, made bulk batches, directed specialty purchasing, and created database of ingredients and recipes for continuation of the line after my departure. 

Too Far Productions -- 2005

Spearheaded New York promotions operation of distributing book samples.  Identified local target audiences, coordinated teams, accounted all receipts and expenditures, handled rental car reservations and usage.  

Cirque Boom -- 2002 to 2005 

Co-creator, company member, and performer of 2 full-scale productions, in addition to site-specific works and walk-arounds.  Physical theatre and circus performance.

INSTRUCTOR -- CHILDREN & ADULTS        

Private Pilates Instructor -- 2007 to Present

Design and teach personalized progressions to students of various ages and backgrounds.  Integrate non-Pilates stretching, breathing techniques, and motivational work.  

Windsor Mountain International -- Summer 2007

Co-leader of 16 American high school students' service trip to five cities in China.  Helped plan trip from the states, once in host country, was responsible for participants' food, shelter, programming, field trips, and integrative learning experience.  Served as liason with local contacts, including during country-side homestays.  Guided students in each of their program components; they studied Mandarin, taught in local public schools, scavenger-hunted the cities of Qingdao, Xian, and Beijing, and devised service projects in the first junior high school for Beijing migrant workers' children (mural painting and english-learning games). 

Future Stars Circus Camp – Summers 2006 and 2007

Full-time counselor, teaching aerial hammock, Spanish web, trampoline, fabric and acrobalance.  Supervised pool-time, lunch, and bus duty.  

Trapeze School New York - 2002 through 2006

Flying trapeze instructor for children and adults.  Co-led two-hour classes, including introducing new students, facilitating safety talks, spotting lines, and coaching advanced students. 

92nd Street Y -- 2004 and 2005

In teams of two, taught all events. Classes ranged from pre-team to 18 month baby classes. Ran birthday parties and group events. 

Powerplay Inc. -- 2005

Taught one-hour children’s classes in gymnastics & circus according to gym's specific program schedules.  Facilitated birthday parties, co-led special events, and worked as camp counselor.

Tito Gaona’s Flying Fantasy Circus - Summer 2003

Trapeze & juggling Camp Counselor for girl scouts aged 5-14.  Was cabin leader for junior-high aged group, responsible for meals, scheduling, discipline, and bedtime.
